Wassup yall! I’m still n bed at the moment promoting a new vid I that made last night with my boy Rony. anyway welcome to the Aaron Smith music page! As you know I have a side project under my Real name Aaron Smith and a lot of people are asking “Why isn’t it Shwayze”?? Or “Is the group Done”?? First of all the group will NEVER BE DONE that’s how we started and we’ll alwayz be pumpin out Shwayze tunes for you to party to, so no worries there. 2nd I didn’t use the name Shwayze because I felt like this music is a bit different and I didn’t want to throw off the Shwayze fans, because we all know how ya’ll love you’re WEED and Women! Lol I Basically moved out of Ciscos house after 36months of touring and recroding nonstop and was alone for the first time in 3yrs! To be honest at first it was a bit crazy to be always on the go, then suddenly stop and think. Somewhere along the journey I fell in love, which gave me a whole new motivation and inspiration. Love Stoned is a product of a lot of different emotions and overall I think its a growth for me as an individual. I didn’t make it to branch of and go solo and I really didn’t make it for the fans. I did it for myself because at the end of the day music is my therapy and the way I translate what is happening to me or what I’m going through. I defiantly stepped outside of my comfort zone and learned a lot of new things about myself and It defiantly feels good. My advice to people after making this record is don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone because that’s when we challenge ourselves and that’s when we grow! Of course people might hate initially, but that’s all part of the test! Ok enough preaching lol. Make this your new home. I’ll have daily blogs and weekly video blogs. Loving the new sound and can’t wait to hear the mixtape. Hoping it is just as good as Cisco’s, which it sounds like it will. When my first son was born in 2008 (January), “Buzzin” was the most played song in our delivery room as I couldn’t get enough off of Myspace. Hopefully we will find a new “Buzzin” off the Aaron Smith project when our second child is born in December. Good luck man, keep the good music coming.

I listened to the new stuff and it isn’t bad. Obviously, it’s gonna take some time to adjust to, since I’m used to chillin’ in the convertible, top-down, blasting “Wasted” on these New Jersey streets that don’t know too much about Shwayze, but hey, you’re an artist; you have the right to try something new.
